  • Windows 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC\ (*)
  • Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10: C:\ProgramData\BOINC\ (*)
  • Macintosh OS X: /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/ and also /Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/BOINC Manager Preferences

Detach from Charity Engine (*BOINC users only)

You can detach from Charity Engine from the "advanced view" of your desktop app, by selecting "tools" in the menubar and clicking "Stop using Charity Engine".  Then, under the applications tab, click to remove any Charity Engine projects you wish to discontinue.  (*Please note: If you detach from the account manager, you will no longer earn credits towards the prize draws.)
