Just joined; trying to add computer but it only downloads windows exe file not a suitable file for mac os, even though that one is asked for. How do I get it?
In the "download" window, there's a dropdown menu that allows you to select your OS: click to select MacOS before you click "download"
There's a chance to download the desktop app during registration (which I guess you tried). Following registration, you can use the "Add Computer" button, in your account dashboard, under "toolbox".
(Feel free to add as many computers to your account as you like :) )
Sometimes a Windows version downloads, but if you (then) select MacOS and click it downloads a second installer, this time for Mac. Any chance this resolves your problem while we look into it further?

Thanks but I've tried that. Even though MacOS is selected only the Windows version downloads.
