I'm getting alerts from my Eset Smart Security v9.0.386.0 about a js file , when a new CE wu is downloaded and it's automatically deleted.
Thank you very much for your report.
We detect some of the viruses that may be in circulation as the presence of them in the volunteer computer sometimes gives us invalid results for our computations. Turns out Eset is detecting the fact that we are detecting these viruses and is blocking that.
I changed the code just now and it should no longer conflict with Eset.
I got a new alert from ESET Internet Security.
Thanks, Adam -- did ESET offer any detail as to what the threat was in particular? We appreciate the report, for sure.
No, it didn't, but I'll see it more thoroughly next time.
The popup navigates to this pages:
This is the file that ESET prevents to download: vboxwrapper_26200_windows_x86_64.exe
Thanks, that is tremendously helpful! We will try to figure out what causes this false alarm.
Adam, we have got in touch with ESET and they have whitelisted us - can you check if the issue is resolved?
It's OK now.
Just a quick note....I thought it curious that the date/time stamp on the 1st couple of posts was back in 2016...then the dates became current (2018)...
I noticed that there seemed to possibly a problems with a user and times in another post...
Just kind of interesting.....
Seeing this error in the last few days, anybody else seeing it.
