Sometimes I set all projects to "no new tasks" as I want to make suare everything gets finished in deadline, or I need the CPU for my own work or whatever. Still, Rosetta often overrides this switches itself to normal and fetches new tasks (and processes them normally). This is annoying, is there a way to prevent this, Also, I cannot change resource percentages.
Charity Engine is intended to be more "hands off" than BOINC, or even other account managers like GridRepublic. This is beneficial to projects because it allows more predictability in how much effort they get, e.g. 1 million core hours by this or that date. This is particularly important for commercial projects, which then in turn support charities and prize drawings.
